I just bought my first bike! A cafe racer modified 1991 k100rs. 30+ years in the making, but I finally bought a bike. Now all I want to do is get out and ride, and I think of bike gear all day.
Now I need to learn how to maintain the thing! That, and how to ride better... Very Happy

Welcome to what must be the best forum.

Site is great for technical know how and also meet ups and fun.

This site makes maintenance extremely easy with most things falling easily enough to DIY. Parts are all readily available from many sources.

Photos and technical data [VIN reference, 7 digit no on the metal plate at right hand side panel] will get you very exact information. Feedback is good too.

Enjoy the K, it will get under your skin and its great for long long runs too.

Good reads there Rick.. One thing is to never overestimate the importance of training.. " in an emergency situation, the many skills perceived or real shall not RISE to the occasion,but instead.....will revert back to your training level... Think about that before passing that beer to the wife and say.. Watch this! lol!
