Hello all I just picked up my first K bike on Thursday I have never ridden one before but I have been a fan for a long time. the opportunity came up to buy one and just had to do it. I bought it for a daily driver. It is a 1985 K100 with bags and box. love it so far.

Welcome to the club! Go easy at first as these are fairly old bikes (175 in dog years).

Get into a maintenance cycle and do everything by the book. Plan for the 2d year to be better than the first, and so on.

Hi thre Jimmy welcome to our own private funny farm.
Seeing that you are new to Ks have a look through this http://www.verrill.com/moto/newkbike.shtml it gives you some really good info for new owners and just to be on the safe side put new fuses in because we are seeing some problems arising with fuses that look good but are no good.

Thanks for the warm welcome 1 week riding the K100 and I love it. I need to get my odometer fixed and would love to find a fairing for it. If anyone has any Ideas that would be great.
