What an excellent forum. I signed up a while back but never really participated. I am on my second 1985 K100RT and belong to the Springfield BMW Roadriders (www.motomo.org). While I ride other BMWs (1983 R100RT now a naked bike; 1994 R1100RS), for obvious reasons, when it cools down, I prefer K-bike to ride throughout the winter Very Happy

. [I also have a 2009 KLR650 and a 2013 Yamaha WR250R. Here in the Ozarks, dual-sport riding is outstanding.] Best wishes to all and for those in the USA, Happy Thanksgiving. Dave

Hello Dave,
I love your part of the country. I hail from the Northern Illinois BMW riders MOA charter. We bricksters should stick together. Stay in touch, I intend to travel down to MO a lot and perhaps I will visit the sister chapter for one of their rides next spring. Welcome to this great forum. There is no equal.
