Have watched all the youtube vids and scoured the forum - but just want to check!

It look like once you have removed the rear drive to lube the spline the driveshaft "pulls out" with a tug to grease/inspect both ends of the drive shaft. Does it "pop back in" in the same way without having to remove the swing arm?

Thanks, Mike

Yes. There is a circlip that you need to overcome, it doesn't need a great deal of force and you'll know from the 'click' when it goes back that it's fully seated.

its easy to check isf the shaft is in correct position

mount it - than a slight clap with the rubber hammer - click

correct pos: the rear end of the shaft is 10mm longer than the plane surface of the rear fork

finished

I replaced the spring clip on mine as it had broken. It was pretty hard to get back on and off again the next time I removed. Had to do some serious gripping/levering to get it out. Geoff Capes wouldn't have tugged it out by hand.
