Hoping to get away in May sometime, for a 5 dayer. I was under the impression that Kyogle was the destination this time, for the benefit of our Qld chapter bros. Already planning the "long cut", via Inverell, Ashford, Texas, east towards wherever. In Kiwi at the minute. Mmotorcycling paradise. Good road surfaces, endless twisties, incredible scenery (except that it is drizzling and can't see the other side of theBay of Islands)

hoping the Black Dog Ride will bring out a few for a run. I like your idea though Klompy.

My weekends are now Sun-Mon, so it may be a case of catchup on the home run on Sunday , after church that is........ affraid

I feel compelled to remind my fellow readers  and colleagues that the BMW K100 is a motorcycle designed for touring and not for riding 4 minutes down the road to Gosford for a chai latte and a bikkie.

http://nindigully.com/location/

https://www.google.com.au/search?q=nindigully&safe=off&hl=en&site=imghp&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=QOMDU5Ywx-qQBe6pgSg&ved=0CAoQ_AUoAg&biw=1366&bih=598

It is in a more convenient location for the banana benders who usually have to bear the brunt of the tyranny of distance on these rides, ( though it is still a decent ride for them out there from Brisvegas. ) It's a decent day away from my place via Warialda and Moree etc. Personally, I see myself and Bella and possibly the other hillbillies throwing up a tent by the river which is about 50m from the pub which will sell us deliciously cold beverages and what appear to be the largest hamburgers ever devised by man. The people of Hamburg, Tschörmanii, have apparently denied any affiliation with this business.

Why a new thread? You said you wanted a ride in May and this is my proposal.
Smithy, I imagine there's cod and yellow belly in the creek there. ....but does it matter? There is a pub 5o metres away.  What a Face

Look at street view RT. Only dirt is outside the pub. And the driveway from the road.

affraid But the driveway is 87km long.  affraid

Good call Seanii.

Good day's run - just under 700km from my place via Fossickers Way. Warialda for smoko with an early start down here?
Only a bit over 400km from your place.

I came through that way last year on the K1100 from Emerald when I called in to see you. What about up Friday, back Sunday? Sydneysiders could slip up to the Hunter Valley the evening before.

Nice time of year to ride Rossko.

Cheers

I had enough trouble trying to turn around on Seamus' footpath let alone that. Maybe I can get a fang up to
Guyra instead, that's a 2 day run for me from here with my old bones.

Either the weekend of ( fri) May 9th-10-11th or May 23-24-25 work for me. Leave Guyra on the Friday and return on the Sunday as Gaz suggested.
Bob, you're welcome to stay over here anytime, as are any of the usual suspects.  Smile

I'm interested but my current work program gives me Saturday to Monday.  Teaching 2 classes on Fridays so no sneaking out either.  I'll keep watching to see what dates get settled on then I'll see if it's at all possible.  Would be a good shakedown run for the 16v.

The former (9-11 May) would suit me as the following weekend is the Ruptured Budgie Rally at Mingoola.

possibly not Rick , but if someone should happen across Tackler and refer to him as a "cute Hoor" he should take it as a compliment.
by the way ,  Corkboy should be in the vicinity about the same time, maybe we could get an Irish eccentrics thoughts on Nindigully.
