Greetings fellow K100 riders,

I'm Richard from NSW, Australia. I have a 1988 K100RS that I've owned for about 3 years. It's currently off the road and I'm in the process of bringing it back to some of its former glory. It was burning a lot of oil before I took it off the road.

My daily ride is currently a 2006 R1150R, which I use for the 200km daily round trip to work. When the K100 is fixed up it'll be taking over that duty from the R series.

Cheers,

Richard

G'day Richard. There are plenty of NSW members on here. Keep your eye on the forum for rides and take the opportunity of catching up in person with them when you see some activity in your area.

What area?

Cheers and welcome.

Welcome Richard.

There' a couple of Ks and an R1150R(Maries) in our garage too. I'd rather ride the K too Smile

Like they said, plenty of us here in NSW.

Al

Many thanks all for the warm welcome!

I live in Goulburn but am from Sydney, where the K is currently. Look forward to seeing you all on the road.

Cheers,

Richard

It's good to see someone else with great taste in bikes. Gouldburn ain't that far, it's only a two hour ride (3 if you go the back way)

My Father in law just move to Goulburn so I'll be down there every so often. Maybe we can meet up for a coffee and a pie.

I was born in Goulburn. Each time I return there...ride through..stay over etc...the temperature immediately drops 10C, the wind picks up and a kind of miserable drizzle begins. Home sweet home.

Pardon me for being skeptical but that is a big call from the Ice, snow and tornado King of northern NSW.

G'day Richard , good to have you along .
Plenty of of support here for technical, parts and anything strange. as Gaz mentioned , keep an eye out for rides here in Oz, theres bound to be something to suit your needs.
You'll meet up with a great Krew to mix with and share experiences. Cheers Ed.

I guess that is how the Roo made it into the stew.

Goulburn-Guyra.

The climate would have similarities, yes.
