Hi Guys, 
Stumbled on the K engine only a year ago - like finding salvation. A mate and I saw a K75 on Gumtree and he talked me into a half share. It's gone now and I replaced it with an 83 K100RS which despite its age has done 8000 kms on trips to Melbourne and Longreach (FWQ). Not as smooth as the K75 but the riding position suits better.

A couple of days ago I came across the December 1983 road test done by that mag "The Classic Motorcyclist"
whose diehard editor invariably refused to have anything that wasn't brit in it, no matter what sort of rubbish it was, so getting a K in, was unusual. I have PDFs of the review if anyone wants one.

Mine has clear engine cases ( engine no. 104EA39832203 ) and i'm wondering if this is a feature of the very early ones
I have questions regarding the F D ratios but that can come later.

I put the info in PROFILE but it doesn't transfer to the posts

There's probably a few thing you need to look at...

• Go to the Forum tab and scroll right to the bottom. You'll see a thread 'For Members Only'. This is where CF will post announcments, changes and other stuff like new links etc.
  
• Go to the Portal tab and explore. There's a download area where you need to log-in. It's a private member area only so you need to get login details from CF and don't post any links to this area on the forum.
  
  
• Also in the Portal tab is a link to access the upload area where you can find files uploaded by other members and where you can also upload a file to share. Its new so there's not a lot in there atm.
  
• Use the search tab to search for key words in thread titles.
  
• Use the 'Search Forum With Google' box on the forum tab to find key words in the thread posts. Its a better way to search for info. Its more comprehensive.

Hi werewasi,

When you click 'Profile', you will see a number of tabs across the top. Click the Signature tab.

Thats the place that you put the details in.
