Big thanks to Ruth and Gaz for hosting the evening.
Top time.
Not sure why Gaz is away from home so often. If I could eat the salads Ruth prepared for every meal I would not leave home. Or at least take a doggy bag.
Quick two hour run up the freeway for dinner and two hours back, but worth every minute.
Great to see Olaf turn up as well. Not sure if we dragged him out of bed or not. Hope he wasn't late for church
Thanks to Olaf for the pudding and wine.

Hope the Toy Run was a success and no one melted in the sunshine.

No Gaz, they are not Sandra's glasses.

No new K75 for me, but that is in another thread.

Hope to see you soon Olaf. In the flesh.

rosskko and sandrakko

Should have given the in-laws the flick!

Won't miss another similar gathering.

Great you all had a good time, including the virtual visitor. Very Happy

Bill

Sorry you missed it Bill but we couldn't let the Kat out of the bag. However to make up for it. . . . . next time you are up we will treat you some pudding even if it's summer.  The others up here probably won't say no to it either.....[had to say that for Trapper]. I usually have a few spare.

Gaz has great ideas and his idea of a sort of Kristmas Krew get together fell on fertile ground. Clearly though its a case of whoever has the ideas there is no shortage of willing participants ready to give the idea legs. Must be the Irish roots down there.

Ruth and Gaz had previously sampled the goodies at Stradbally so all was good. Ruth even has the recipe for the pudding........

It was fabulous to see so many familiar names and faces there and really feels that the forum has a heartbeat.

I had been trying to get 88KE into it and had sent some messages but unfortunately while I was on he was trying my mobile so we missed him. The idea of a link though is something to try again......maybe when Rossko and Sandra are here we can add a few things in.

My time here was Saturday morning so all was good.

Gaz that's a great post too, sums it all up nicely.

Needless to day anyone who ventures up this way must let us know in advance and we will see what we can set up.....

Just a little thought came to my mind as I was packing away some remaining Christmas items, as in a large new stock of Pudding Bowls picked up as an end of season bargain for next Christmas.

Now at the moment we feel some of these should be suitably filled and sent to our Australian brethren so make sure to have a date in the diary for the end of the year.

Given the distances maybe we might be able to send to more than one location!

I love your enthusiasm Olaf.

A bit too early for Ruth & I to commit to the Kristmas Party 2016, pending what is happening in our lives at the back end of the year but we had such a good time last year that it will be hard not to do it again.

Cheers

I was more thinking we will get the puddings sent down and see how it works out.

Maybe those who visit up here become honorary hosts......one way of passing the mantle. We can keep the puddings coming. Either way there will be some for Rossko when he comes.

Don't tell anyone though because there is a whole bunch of Eccentrics who would then be expecting Christmas Pudding at Stradbally in May or June.......and we cant disappoint them!
