Hi everyone!
If you've seen any of my reason posts about electrical issues, you've seen me mention that I feel out of my depth working on a bike (85 K100rs) with such a complex electrical system.

I thought you guys might get a kick out of seeing what I'm used to electrically. Here's the wiring diagram from my other motorcycle:
The difference a few decades can make Diagram

It's a 1940 Royal Enfield WD C/O. His name is Flynn

Even that wiring diagram is unnecessary, since all you really need is magneto to points to plug. Fun! So, that's why working on the K feel like rewiring a nuclear reactor to me.

Ha Ha Ha you should try working on my car. A 1993 BMW 730iL, I had the drivers side door card of a few weeks ago and there are more wires in there than on a K100 and it has 47 different computers. When I bought it I was told there was a 38 in the glove box in case of electrical failure. You don't try to fix it you just shoot yourself. Laughing
