It is me Ajays, still in the saddle and coming on 88 years.

 Actually looking for the OE starter button.  Don't need the complete assembly (button, spring and circlip.) only the button.

Any suggestions?.....not rude ones...!

seems hard to find ajays ...without buying the whole shooting match

but a couple of the enterprising members in here are trying to fabricate  the single part you desire

haven't read an update just recently

I think the captain is on this task with some others ...cant find the link at the moment ...but perhaps someone has it saved somewhere ?

Thanks . What I did was drill a hole in the button exposing the pin below and filling the hole with "Q-Bond powder and catalyst. It didn't stick well, so I drilled a hole in the pin itself and repeated the operation. (Sets instantly) Filed the top of the button round and painted it green; been on for a week, no problems but keeping fingers crossed
