My new (to me) K1100RS has been pulling to the right badly. I suspected something in the front end. Found the right wheel bearing is totally shot.
Have been able to identify the required bearings
Left - 25x47x12 - 6005RSR
Right - 25 x 52 x 20.6 - 3205-2RS

Can anyone tell me what the installation procedure is. Or give me a link.
I'm on the road in Perth WA and need to get going asap.

Cheers

I presume the wheel is out but if not it'd done in a similar way to a K100 except the calipers have to come off.
There is a big circlip which has to come out then the bearings knock out and the hotter the wheel the better.
You need to get some room on the first bearing by puting a large screwdriver in through the first bearing but not to the second and heave on it to crush the thin steel collar that holds the sleeve concentric then you can get a drift at the bearing. When you are reinstalling the bearings DONT tap on the inner race just the outer and all will go together well. Probably take an hour or so. Don't forget ti straighten the collar or it's difficult to get the axle back through.
Be prepared the double row race is around $50 the other $20'.
Best of luck and it's good to discover that now and not at Madura or thereabouts.

Thanks Rick. Just picked up bearings in Bunbury. Cost $54 for both so not so bad.
Yes. Lucky I think, to have found that now before I left.

Thanks for that Choco. I would have that on my laptop at home but I'm travelling light and have only brought my tablet with me.
Cheers
