New member here - I'm a long time rider, but only one year in as a BMW rider (1994 K75S). I did log 14,000 miles in 2016, and I'm looking to increase that in 2017.

G'day and Welcome, you wont find a finer bike to ride than a late model K75s, they are just brilliant.

not hard to do at all on any k bike ...enjoy the ride and have fun

Welcome to the forum. Nice to meet another who does lots of miles in the year. That 94 K75 is nice.

I came close to buying a 96 K75 a few weeks ago but needed a bit too much to be done as in seals/head bearings/tyres etc but it was a fabulous bike to ride and probably will get one another time. Quite different from the K100 I am used to. I was going to buy it while I did a load of work to the K100 but the K75 work list ruled it out.

I lucked out and found a very well maintained example that also had fork springs and a Wilburs shock. I was able to just jump on and go.

Welcome!  It looks like you have already found how easy it is to put miles on these wonderful machines.  I have a pair of K75's and put about a combined 15,000 miles a year on them.  I could put more on them, but I also have a K100. 

Beware the Kpox!
