What color is the wire off the relay is the switch connected to?

The wire from the temperature sensor to the component labeled temperature switching unit in the diagram in Rob's post #48 is violet/green in my schematic. Is that a color combo you're seeing at both the sensor and switching unit?

Alternatively you can just put 12 volts across the violet/yellow wire. I picked up the green wire at the back of the ignition switch and fed that through a switch to the violet/yellow wire. I also put a warning light from violet/yellow to earth to tell me when the override switch was on.
