Using Chrome on Win 10 now, others before, the URL line is showing "Not secure".

While I have no doubt of the trustworthiness of our esteemed Crazy Frog, I'm wondering if there is a setting that should be different at my end or the other end.

I had the same problem with win 8.1 and Firefox. I had to reset my browser to default settings just so that I could log in.

I have no problem with authority. Just some of the morons that are paid to enforce it.

Google has recently changed Chrome to note if a site has an ssl or not.

It is nothing to worry about here.

It is something to worry about if you were online ordering something from an unsecure site.

First, please read the following: https://www.forumotion.com/create-https-forum

In December, I have to renew the yearly subscription for the forum.
Until now, I was paying for each individual features and never bothered paying for SSL (We are not doing any financial transaction, and regular members do not have access to sensitive information. Only admins do.)
Recently, Forumotion changed the fee structure and I will have to buy a package. In order to keep all the actual features of this forum, I will have to switch to the "premium" package and it will include the SSL certificate.
The cost of running the forum will double, but it won't be a problem as during last June fundraising, members generously sent me enough money to sustain the expense for few years.
