Just been working on a fellow member bike and it turns out to be the HAL sensor is faulty 

Does anyone in want to buy into a group buy ?

so the pricing on the Jaycar  HALL sensor  which are the CY sensors  are 
1-9 units $24.95 each AUS 
10-24 units $22.35 each AUS 
25 + units $19.70 each Aus  
Plus postage and handling - 
This is not much of a saving so may not be worth a group buy  

These are a replacement for the Honeywell units  
They need minor modification to the mounting plate 
spoke with a few of the K riders that are running these any they have not had any problems


The Quote for the  Honeywell unit is $30.36 US each   6 - 12 weeks lead time  
Minimum Order Quantity  or they sit on back order  till production run quantity is acceptable 
no modification need 

Quote direct from CY is a little more expensive per unit than Jaycar ( they must use a rebate system )

Matt what's involved with the modification? Are Honeywell any better than CY?

If you need someone to make up numbers to get the discount then I'll take a couple as well.

Matt: if that's the H-rated 'hardened' sensors then that's a good price whichever way you look at it. Even if they're the bog-standard type it's still on a par with Europe for once!
