G'Day,

A few days ago the "Trips Rides and meetups" forum stopped displaying when I log on to the forum main page.

Have posted on this and have used it to meetup with other riders in my area. Would be good if it reappeared.

I am able to access it via search results if I do a search for a thread I know is in the forum but when I return to forum main page it is gone.

Was wondering if it was something my end in my preferences or it is a glitch or whether access has been  restricted?

Hi Mick67, I just clicked on the "Forum" tab and scrolled down a little to the "Australian and New Zealand Rides and Meetings" under General Discussion which is still visible to me - I assume that is what you were looking for.

Here is a direct link to that section for you to try.

Your link takes me to the forum so not an access issue.

However the General Discussion Forum just isn't there on the forum  main page on my screen anymore. It used to be the 3rd Forum down the screen - Members Intro then Forum Functionality, then General Discussion then Technical..... as you describe. Now it goes straight from Forum Functionality to Technical and isn't displayed anywhere on the screen.

Anyway I will use your Link as a backdoor - always had to use the Tradesmens entrance.

Are you accessing the forum via a PC or mobile tablet  ? 

I can see the page  as normal  

Maybe take a screen dump

Mick67, I don't see any problems on my side. All the forums are showing.
In fact, Rick G has just posted in the Australian and New Zealand rides and meetings 15 minutes before you.

Hi Mick67, I don't know if this is the answer for you,

but when I just went to my shortcut to come onto the forum I happened to take notice that the screen display for the forum before I logged in was exactly the same as your screenshot, i.e. no general discussion.

As soon as I logged in I had the full display. I invariably pay little attention to what is on the screen before I log in so had not noticed this before.

I see that your screenshot indicates that you are logged in so I wondered if you just leave your profile logged in all of the time and the forum software has you logged out despite what the display is indicating. Why not log yourself off and back in a couple of times and take careful note of the display differences (if you see any).

This is the first thing that I looked on the picture. Was he logged in?
Some forums are only accessible to registered members and you have to be logged in to access them.

No I always log out when I leave the site and appears no difference if logged in or out. General Discussion just disappeared about a week ago

Weird isn't it!! I have tried logging on/off, used different browsers - Edge, Explorer, Firefox, entering site from different places - google search, my shortcut etc..ut no joy.

When I do a search for 'General Disscussion Forum' in the Forum search box I get a result for the forum but when I click it...the following screen comes up saying the foum doesn't exist...????

However I can access Trips rides sub-forum by clicking on posts from it that show up in 'new posts'

The General Discussion forum just re-appeared.

I suspect it has something to do with the fact that my last reply was my 10th post...

Maybe access was restricted until this.

Anyway....problem solved...thanks for the assistance
