Has anyone tried connecting the GS911 tool to a K1100 3-pin connector without special adaptors? These are rather expensive...
And not available anymore - now is GS-911 sold only with 3-pin interface, so it can't be used for the bikes with 10-pin connector.

My bike is 1993 K1100RS, BTW

The 3 pin GS-911 interface is available from Germany for the low, low price of only $250 shipped. affraid

Here's a post on the K11OG forum that tells you how to use the temp warning lamp to read Motronic codes:

Thanks - I rather wanted to get the "ordinary" GS-911 and find a way how to connect it to 3-pin socket on my bike. That way my buddy, who's an excellent bike electrician, could use it for diagnosing other Beemers too. Unfortunately, the adaptor (https://prnt.sc/puosem) is not available anymore.

With these guys basic price is just for the interface 108.4 EUR, no idea how much shipping to USA may cost: https://shop.dieselschrauber.org/gs-911-3-pin-interface-for-bmw-p-250-l-en.php

For reading the codes I already got "ABS/Motronic diagnoser & reset tool" from Motobins: http://prntscr.com/puv24n
