Hi folks!
When I bought the bike there was no light in the lunchboxand clock not working. Should there be backlight?
Changed to a new gauge with tenet.
Worked at first, not a 100%, light was a little flicky.
Now it comes and goes.
What could it be? Checked positive wire and cleaned all negatives on the bike without help. Changed the battery..

Check fuse 3. Even if it looks, good, replace it. Not sure about the lunchbox; that sounds as if a PO has added a light to it.

With light switch off and key to park you have park lights front and back of your bike but no instrument cluster back lights (as a battery saving feature) With light switch on park (or on) you have park lights as well as instrument cluster back lights, with key on park (or on) Most of the power to the cluster is from pin 6 - green/black. Power to the back lights is from pin 24 - grey/blue. Pins 13 and 18 are earth.

Pin 6 gets power from fuse 1 through the kill switch, which gets it through the ignition switch.

Ok, good to know that it should have been light. Then I will measure those pins and hopefully find something wrong.
Thanks you
