I need a new oil seal for my starter motor. Not the o-ring on the outside but the seal on the inside.
I've seen it in kits but can't find the seal by itself.
I believe it's the top part in this kit: https://www.euromotoelectrics.com/Starter-repair-kit-for-Denso-Starter-BMW-K-p/bmw-strk007tk.htm

Possible to find on it's own?

That looks like a seal that is specifically designed for the job it's meant to do. At 35 bucks plus p&p and your state tax, that isn't too bad a price. At some point if you rack up enough miles you are going to need the starter motor bushes, so it won't be a 'false' buy.
