just noticed the BMW badge on the rear seat cowl is quite large ? when did they do this , i have two k100s one is a ex blood bike and has the larger badge .

Probably an aftermarket replacement. The badge on the lunch box should be the same size as the ones on the tank.

The tail cowl roundel is 60mm. The tank roundels are 70mm.

The previous owner possibly did what I did. On mine the cowl is covered by the top box, but there was a badge on the mudflap. It was ratty, I saw a good one at the car junk yard so replaced it, it was a bit bigger.
