Tested today and it works!
Found a little tilt trailer that I installed a track made of garage door tracks and using the 2 inch wheels from the garage door. Installed wheels on harbour freight chalk and using an old boat winch hauled my baby on it. Now my wife can rescue my and maybe I can find a parts bike.

Hope this inspires someone.K75 ambulance Img_2053

Love ingenuity.
Repurposing anything that could otherwise just end up in a landfill is an added bonus.

That is a brilliant solution to the problem of getting a brick onto a trailer without a second(or even third) set of hands!

Barnyard engineering at its finest.

Great conversion and well done. All it needs is a red and white paint job and some flashing lights and a siren.
Regards Martin.

I must admit I was a.little jumpie the first time pulling it up. Went better than I thought ,whole idea was to load without help. I had to put the bike on a bit of a tetter totter to get the exact balance point and match that to the tipping point of the trailer to get some tongue weight on the trailer when loaded.

lucki,
I just wondered if the track of the trolley is wide enough to keep your K from tilting sideways
that would be a real pity

Tipping, good point. I was concerned with that too.
When I ran the bike into the chalk it stood well but I quickly strapped it down to the front shocks. When I mounted the 2 inch. Steel wheels on the chalk I took care to reduce the clearance to the track to minimize sway, it did.

Further on chock sway.
I did not have a milling machine so the holes I drilled for the little wheels were as close
Ias I could guess. Ideally these holes should have been slots at 45degrees so more accurate adjustment could be made to reduce further sway. I got lucky.
