How likely is a stock K75 to make it through the ulez inspection? Has anyone done this test yet....if so, any wisdom regarding getting K's through it?
Thanks!
Thanks!
There's always hope though. Attached is a list from Bikesure's ULEZ page showing a couple of elderly qualifiers. Maybe BooG might tune it up and take a shot at it, or get some independent to do a preliminary without costing too much. Five years isn't too long to wait unless, of course, it's your only ride out of town and £12 a day plus the registration fee doesn't seem like a bargain.Dai wrote:Given the age of your bike, it's not likely that a K75 would meet it either.

Don't be. A Kawasaki H1 and H2 are also compliant.
The 40 year rule......so a 1973 4 carb 900 Z1 is complaint, a 1997 K1100 is not.
My reasoning for having a 1983 K100RS!!
I was looking at taking my K100LT into Londonistan this weekend…but might as well take the car and pump out as much diesel fumes as I can into the atmosphere. Costs the same £12.50 a day.Ringfad wrote:One of the UK guys on Facebook managed to get his K75 (and K1100RS) passed.
This is where he went and his comment
No cat required. Now Ulez compliant. No fees to Mr Khan & the k75 is helping protect future generations.
