I have got a very early K100 - it’s November 1983 
I have used this site to sort out my non working speedometer so thanks guys but now I just thought I would go on a little spin to test the speedometer and guess what now it’s got a miss fire the joys of having a old classic I will now do a search to see what might be causing it

So is my K100RS.

Coils are a bug on these, early coils go faulty. Remove the coil cover and run the bike in the dark and look for arcing.

HT leads are another issue....be sure your plugs have bobbins on and not threaded tips showing.
