Hey guys,

Considering theres a lot of confusing wiring diagrams available for the Motogadget Mo.Unit blue but none really seemed to do the trick for me, I build and tested a wiring diagram for the BMW K1100RS 1994+, and hopefully this will make everyone's electronic struggles a bit easier:

The ultimate BMW K1100RS 1994+ Motogadget Mo.Unit blue wiring diagram Bmw_k110

Please note the O2 sensor is left out in this case as we mainly deal with European bikes that do not have the O2 sensor included. If it's included, please wire it to motronic Pin #30, ground and switched 12V as per original diagram.

Handlebar inputs are expected to give a ground to the Mo.Unit input.

Please note that the fuel relay can NOT be eliminated. I have seen diagrams where the pump and injectors are wired to 12V ignition output of the Motogadget Mo.Unit blue, but the Mo.Unit does not have the desired output current to get the pump to deliver adequate fuel pressure this way (we tried and we broke our head over this!)

High resolution PDF can be downloaded for free HERE. We will add a version for the 8V K100 and K1100 models in the future.

Happy installing!

Hi  @TimJacques thanks very much for this!

You wouldn't happen to have the 8V K100 diagram available would you?

Cheers

Great info for those who might need it! Thanks.

I have moved the topic from Troubleshooting - Electrical, to the more appropriate, How to - Article from you telling others how to do a specific job.
