Just received my K100, I'm a long-time bike fan, first-time BMW owner. 

While working for an independent BMW parts distributor, I figured the first "project" bike would be a BMW, landing on the flying brick. 

I picked up the '87 K100 with only 26k from the original owner. 

The first thing I need to do before enjoying is find a new battery. I see a lot of threads on that subject but not sure if ill end up with a lithium or AGM. Anything smaller and lighter than the stock  Laughing

Next will be all the fluids and tires. 

Finally, enjoy the stock bike!

I know batteries are like religion, but I went with this one from O'Reilly..  AGM, smaller than stock and more powerful

Used the same on in my new-to-me K75s and on my R60/6 that I have had for the past 2 years..
