A little word of warning, I have a 1983 K100RS and also two 1984 K100, one is K100RT and the other is a Sprint.
When it comes to parts for K bikes you are susually told 'early' as in up to 1985 and then after 1985.
But...there are a lot of subtle differences between 1983 and 1984 so be careful buying parts like caliper rebuild kits, gas tank stuff, some electrical items too.
Open up a thread for your bike and we can all chime in.
