I need to change the hinges on the integral cases on my 1985 K100RT - VN 0052434.
Looks like they just slide off if they are unhooked.
Any suggestions how to unhook them.

A pointed probe in the little detent hole and a hearty whack on the end of them starts the sliding off process.
