Hello lads my dad has a k100 rt its a 1983 model with around 65k miles on it has some fairing damage has been dropped by previous owner and also needs a complete rewiring it starts on the button but can cut out at any time due too loose wiring so he has decided 2 sell because there is too much work too be done with it for him how much would a k100 in this condition be worth.

A 1983 model with damage and wiring/electrical problems, in Ireland you would be doing well to get €300 to €400 for it.

Yep you are right on that. It maybe a bitza or had the fairing put on later but it was definately mid 1984.
Check the plate to see what BMW say it is.

yeah your right lads the fairings were put on the bike thought it might be worth around that thanks.

I only know that after researching mine and finding out it's one of the first k199rt's out of the factory, and it's just had it's 27th birthday!!

opps, good lord, laptop keyboard, just created a new model! should be k100rt. Hell, how heavy would a 199 be???!!
