84 K100RS, just finished changing the spark plugs, dropped & replaced the oil & oil filter, tried to start her.

Instrument cluster fine,

Horn & lights fine,

Hit the starter and not a thing, not even a noise, nor is there a drain on the power

Tried to rotate the rear wheel whilst in gear, no change!

Didn't see anything odd when changing the plugs and all went back together fine



Ideas guys????

PS never would happen on the old 69 Triumph Bonneville!

Stupid statement but has the kill switch been bumped into off position? Also find the main earth wire attached to the engine casing, undo it and Deoxit (Man I hope I spelt that right) it can cause intermittent anythings to happen.

Mate the problem was even more stupid, I didn't have her in neutral. After my initial post I went back outside in the dark and went through the start up process again and she's away. I think I should now partake of a beer & not tell anyone! ha

Good to know you guys can keep a secret & as old Sergeant Shultz would say, I know nothing, nothing!.
And yes even in the middle of winter Beer solves numerous problems.........after the fact!

Hey hi guys, yep we have all done something similar - haven't we, usually after the beers tho'!!. just testing the neutral switch was working properly is your best excuse next time..!! nice to be human isn't it......
