Nup, not bidding on 'em, and yep, they'll fit your motorbike. The eBay picture shows them fitting a R100R Mystic but they do in fact fit our pannier mounts as well.

Gosh. Don't know what they are worth. Guess you need to do a bit of research. These ones look in very nice condition and the fact they are in the same country should make the freight reasonable. Let us know how you get on.

Hey, Blakey, Motorworks has a set of secondhand K panniers for about $275.00 not including shipping. Expect to pay a bit more in OZ because of the tyranny of distance, and, well, because we have to take it in the can because they can.

The cost of getting them here would cost an arm and a leg!

I'm prepared to go to maybe 400 clams for the ebay set, because they simply don't appear very often.

Like I said, I'm bidding on the brackets because if I don't get the panniers, at least I'll have them to mount to the bike. If I win the panniers, the brackets will be yours.

You can have the things I got them for nothing with all the RS 3 spoke wheels etc and that is what I wanted. I took the rest because it was going to the tip and I didn't want that to happen Just Shout me a couple of beers next time

I was tempted to stop at $30 on the eBay brackets, but in the end bid to $40. I wasn't prepared to go above $50 though. Someone got 'em for $57. I didn't need 'em, was just collecting since they looked to be in good nick and mine have wear marks near the front lock that makes 'em wiggle a bit on the mounts. Maybe next time.

I have been trying to get a taillight lens for my z1300 Kawasaki and went to 120 on ebayUS a week ago and missed out I think I will need to make one from a red icecream container.

Blakey, Try some of the wreckers. I bought a pair for about $300 from Metropolitan Motor Cylce Wreckers on Silverwater Rd, Homebush a few years ago. The original price was something like $500, so I left it and left it and rang back about a month later and the price had dropped. I think they work on turnover of parts, rather then just keeping them on the shelf. Sometimes you see the panniers for sale on BMW club sites.

I understand beggars can't often be choosers but be sure to ask if they're the later type with new-style locks like the igntion key. You don't want the flat key design which requires two hands to lift the tiny cover and insert the key which are prone to being a f*cking irritant in the dark or when your hands are full, flashlight in your teeth, beer can in the other hand at a rally, and all you want is for the f*cking pannier to open, please.

Motorworks (in the UK) sell brand new panniers (their part no. ACA16173) for 358.33 ex VAT english pounds.

Postage/freight/shipping to the Great Southern Land (Oz) is 135 english pounds.

Christmas is coming up, so if you mob can't think of a decent present for me, I'll be happy with the panniers...
