As some of you knows, for the last 5 years I am organizing a meeting for Eastern North American BMW riders. (Mostly Nova Scotia, Quebec and Maine, but everybody is welcome.)
We found a nice area in Grand Falls (New Brunswick (Eastern Canada)) and this would be the perfect spot to have a North American forum's members meeting.
Last week, I booked the reservation of the cottage (huge one sleeping 64 people) for August(2012) 3, 4 and 5. The adjacent campground can also accommodate 100's of people. small cabins are also available.
Anybody interested?
If yes, start to book your vacation and plan your trip.

I'll be there waiting for you!

I missed the previous BMW meeting you organized. But, I'm determined to attend this one. My bike is up for the trip once it gets its new splines and suspension this winter. I'm marking my calendar for sure.

This year we tried to organize the rally during a long week end, but this was not a smart decision.
Most of the riders have decided to spend the time with their family, and too few people were planning to attend.
As a result, we decided to cancel the event but we will try again next year.
I may ride to New Brunswick to meet some friends, but as we cancelled the reservation of the cottage we may simply camp.

If all goes to plan I will be riding cross country from the Left coast to New England (Pepperell & Northampton Massachusetts) to visit my ex-pat OZ family members. It'll be 'Fall' and the colours should be bold and brilliant, along with some freezing cold nights, too; heated grips and a Gerbings heated jacket liner required. I'd love to meet up with any hardy souls out for a motor round about mid-October of this year.

I may go to New England on thanks Giving day (mid October) with the intention to meet you. The only problem is that I will be with my wife and.... my car. This is no problem for a cup of coffee and a chat Wink

It was unfortunate that the timing of the gettogeher in NB ended up with canceling the trip. Fact is, there was a last-minute change in my plans because of family and I would not have been able to make that camping trip.

If the moon and stars line up, there's a possibility that I'll be travelling to Boston around the October time frame. If I do travel, it will have to be by car because I'll be helping my 93 year old aunt to move out of her house around that time. Keep us posted as to your plans, GITH, and we'll see if we can make it a threesome with CF.

That all sounds doable, CF & Robmack. I'll hire a car just to be in sync with youse guys. Smile

Seriously, my younger brother has a beaut house on a lake near the New Hampshire border, built by the family. He'd welcome guests for a brief respite of coffee, tea and lunch, and he's a longtime BMW rider hisownbadself, albeit, his bike's cylinders go in the opposing direction. I've got them as well; the good stuff sticks in this family.

Perhaps we can get some certain Upstate New York riders to attend as well...

Let's see how we go as time passes.

Cheers.
