I like too....yeah!!!

Too bad with all the hooplah...woof woof woof, this is our new bike, BMW presents the same without giving some specifications....weight, horsepower, etc.

Also wish that BMW...after all the self-praising about how it was designed and the concept was produced...had not shown some fellow at the end of the video half assing around a track...at least cranking on the throttle, letting us Hear it.... would have been a good thing.

Seems BMW is pretty dumb sometimes.

At Wired news:

JimK...critic....sorry...I run my BMW and thought that's what this one was made for. Very Happy

Go to www.hellforleathermagazine.com and hava squiz at the video clip there. Roland Sands helped design it and it's supposed to evoke a classic R90S look but with a more modern (but only SOHC) Hexhead engine. There's a pic there of some bloke doing a burnout to the contentment of the juvenile petrol head in all of us.

My '76 R90s. Three piece rings, lightened flywheel, heel-toe shift, saddlebags, Del'Orto carbs, even had the fancy chrome heat shields on the front exhaust. Only 67hp, but handled like a beauty and ran up to 120mph. Those were the days.
