If you've never ridden Cerro Noroeste and Lockwood Valley then you should the next time you take 33.

And then there's 58 from McKittrick to Santa Margarita....

I have not been that way before. But that will probably be my next ride. Thanks!

I rode that five years ago on a Bicycle! Brutal.

Much more fun on a motorcycle I am sure.

Start on Cerro Noroeste headed towards Pine Mountain Club.  The first part is some delicious sweepers that ride like they were paved especially for K bikes.  When you get up higher you might find some gravel on the turns, especially if it’s rained lately. Be sure to stop and check out the panoramic views.

Back when Pashnit had a list of his 10 best roads in CA, 58 was on it.

I was riding there on Friday. Cerro-Noroeste Rd has been renamed.Hudson Ranch Rd.

California Hwy 33 on my 85 K100RS Dsc06311

Also, do this ride on a weekday.  Pine Mountain Club is a weekend spot so the traffic east of there on weekends can be heavy.
