Hi all,

I am yet another member of the other forum who has been given this URL. So far I am likeing this forum because of its focus on technical stuff.

I have 1986 K100RS, white Motrosport with a strange, non BMW seat which is not totally home made. A number of you have seen it bacause I am very keen to identify the maker, so apology for repeating the pics, but maybe here someone will be able to identify it. I have also seen two other bikes with the same seat, both in Europe, but to date no one can tell me where it comes from. (This is not the Corbin seat)





My home is south of Sydney at the edge of the Royal National Park and this is my regular watering hole. The Pub is also a place where lots of weekend bikers stop for a beer or two, look over each other's bikes and keep an eye on the beach goers and surfers (shark food). My current projects include replacing my rear disc, fixing the rear brake and taking another look at the fuel delivery system, especially the pressure regulator and the pump. Something is a little funny with the way it all works.

Future project is to take my bike to Thailand (with a friend or two) and spend a few weeks touring Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. Wish me luck.

Welcome to this forum.
We try to focus on mechanical stuff, but we are also very sociable and once in a while we have off topic discussions.
Even if this forum started as an RT forum, it has extended to RS and LTs.

Ned ..Welcome...I've told you about this before, it is raining ,cold , and most motorcyclists here are riding because of necessity.
What do you do...post a picture of a dream with a pub no less.
If I knew who made your seat I wouldn't tell you just to get my own back.

No biking for me today. I just looked at the windows and we got 25 cms of fluffy with sh..t stuff over night. Even my office won't open before 10:00am.
I think it's time for me to invest on a snowmobile.

Thanks Alex. It looks close, but I would like to find a few more examples. You know... I've found his website... I may just ask him about it... thank you.

BTW he said that he will ask his friends in Germany. BTW he is now calls him self : "Caribbean Artist, who resides in Trinidad & Tobagoa" (West Indies). I wonder if he plays beach cricket

Wow, I didn't know that his front end had such a superbike style. Doesn't look too bad...
I know that Fritz Scherb produced some fairngs and seats under the name KnoScher, but it's not his anyway. Sorry I couldn't be of any help.Maybe Gerstenmairs friend will find out...
