I see that TWB is improving his Franglais. Soon we will be able to communicate in our new common language. Good on you TWB!
Being shy is what prevents a lot of people to learn a foreign language.

Bonjour, Claude. Ou habitez-vous en France?
Pour les Anglais-phones(?)..."singe" is generally a description of a sidecar passenger.

Language is not a barrier as long as we can have good time together.

Hello Beamish,

You are a special Frenchman.... I was expecting an avatar like the 1664 from Kronenbourg but in stead I see an Irish beer!
I guess you will make a lot of friends on this forum.

Warm welcome!
This is nice to see a "compatriote" (people from my country of origin) joining us on an English language forum. As finally_A_K said, a band of brothers doesn't have any frontiers.
