Hi All, Dave from New Zealand here. I recently picked up a 1985 K75C from a friend who'd left it in his garden as a non runner for six years. Turned out to be the fuel pump and proven all good now as I've just returned from a 2,000 km run around the South Island. I had fond memories of a 75S I had in the early 90's and my passion for the K's is now renewed.I have several bikes and this is the lowest $value one but right up there in my favourites.  Bang for buck FANTASTIC!

NICE! I like that fairing. So all you did was replace the fuel pump and then buggered-off on a 2,000km trip? That's brave!

Cheers I'm not exactly sure what the fairing is, I've been told its a luftmeister? I like it though, gives it a bit of an old classic look. Yes my intro was a little misleading...... I also: fitted new battery, starter motor brushes, replaced water pump and oil pump seal, front brake hoses and pads, fork oil and seals, new tyres, greased drive shaft spline plus oil and filter........ also set timing, replaced fuel hose and cleaned injectors.

New member intro 177912 Perhaps you might like to consider removing the lower set of indicators to return it to 'as was'? Or does the vintage rego preclude you from doing that?

Yep agree they’re ugly, tried that with two different sets of lens but they don’t quite fit. The ones you see on there aren’t transparent. The fairing has been repaired after an accident in the past and the shape has altered just a little, enough so not plumb.

Well, unless rego regs insist that you have diffusers (knobbly bits) on the lenses, the shape looks simple enough to reproduce in orange acrylic? Just a thought. That fairing is too rare not to try and find some way around the problem.

That's odd that it has dual turn signals on each side. My guess would be that a previous owner retrofitted the lower K signals on.

Other candidates for the fairing maker might be Sprint or Pichler.
