At last bought a compression tester and went and checked for the first time since the bike came off the showroom floor. I was holding my breath as I did not feel like seeing any bad readings. Only a good old K engine can give results like this after 28years and 121,000Km. Cyl 1 to 4..... 150psi, 152psi, 150psi and 149psi. An average of 150.25psi !! What more could you want ?

Damn good for any age Ronnie. I did my K11 last week and 160 all round after 163000km, the good ol bricks certainly go the distance.
