Hi Sinbad welcome to the forum. You will have to post pics of the beast as we have some members who claim they cant read and write so they just look at pictures.

Thanks everyone for making me feel welcome.
On reading the threads I see there is some controversy on turning the K's into cafe's. I must confess to you all that I have turned my RS into a cafe (please forgive me). The reason behind me doing this is a feel that the beauty in the bike is its styling of the engine, and it is this I wanted to be on show. I took my time doing this and also restored and renewed all the parts. So its pretty much as new, albeit the new styling.

I will posts some pics if you want.

Sinbad (David)
ps. I live in the Auckland area of NZ

Good to have you here with us.  I'd love to see the photos you offered.  I come down on the side of keeping the RS model original, as I think the design as it came from the factory is very handsome.  Having said that, I'm always up for a peek at an alternative.

I have been struggling on how to up load images on the forum so I did a search and noticed that jrdelia@gmail.com is kindly offering to up load images for us. So I have emailed him some pics. These ones are not the best but it gives an idea of what I have been up to.
I will get some better ones taken and hopefully be able to show you these as well.

Wow!  That bike has undergone a serious weight-loss program!  Nicely done, appearance-wise.
Must be "interesting" to ride in the rain.... Razz
