in July 2014, I bought a 1985 K100 RS for a restoration project. It was not running and sold for spare parts. Some parts were missing and some bulk in a box. It was a project running over one year and finished a few days ago. Many hours working in the garage and lot of fun. I have replaced lot of parts because I wanted a bike like "new" :
battery
tires
fork bearings
clutch
front and rear master cylinder kit + fluid container
calipers kit
break braided stainless hoses
stainless steel fastener kit
alternator bearings
output shaft (for a 12 rivets) + bearings
Oils seals
Corbin seat
K1100 center and side stand
Every hoses and rubber parts
windshield
... and more
