Hello All,
Having had problems recently with corrosion on the battery neg- cable / terminal and a low battery I ran into the ABS not resetting problem.
Fitted new battery but the damn ABS just wouldn't reset no matter what method I tried.
Got in touch with Tosi in Japan and recommended, before I sent the unit to him, to spray Deoxit on the multi-pin connector under the seat and connect / disconnect the connector a few times.
I then made sure by cleaning it, that the centre pin of the 3 pin connector under the seat was making good metal to metal contact.
I then did the reset 3 or 4 times and what do you know I now have ABS working correctly
Wohoo and just in time for the weekend ride too
Have a GREAT St.Patrick's Day
