Hi only had my bike a few months, only done 52k miles, the rear shock, Hagon unit is dreadful, very harsh and bottoms out riding 2 up. I am not a heavy guy, nor is my partner. Any ideas please for a replacement shock in the UK. Don't want to pay a fortune as the bike is not worth that much.

Many thanks

Andrew

There's a lot of people on here that swear by RamShocks (me being one of them).

Hagon is probably one of the worst aftermarket shocks you could find.
Perfect if you want to sell your bike with a new shock and let the new owner deal with it.
I strongly recommend the Shock Factory shocks. Made in France - but by an english man, Mike Capon, with english parts!- they are this day the best quality for value available, the same range than Wilbers, WP or EMC, but much cheaper. I've sold many of them to customers and use them on some of my bikes with no defects.
They're designed to your specs with no extra cost.
Feel free to call Mike, he's very kind and is an expert in suspensions.

Thanks guys, I will have a nose around and let you know what I finally decide. Got a big birthday coming up so options are a) make the Kay as good as it can be for minimal cost or b) buy a HD RoadKing.........

Guaranteed to get a reaction!!! 1988 RT rear shock 167893

A modest investment should get your K up to scratch and give you years of enjoyment in return....and spend the remaining budget (rather than being seduced by the Hardly) on going with your partner to somewhere that you'll never forget....like taking a trip down under and meeting the Krew.

BTW - RAM Shocks get my vote too
