Hi all,

Is there a factory setting for the Butterfly air bypass screws ? or would this have been set for each individual bike at the factory ?  I made the mistake when I got his K of " tinkering " not much just a little  Laughing

yes . the default position  is wind in till closed , then unscrew about 1.5 turns

by now , depending of life time use and maintenance ...somewhere about there is good
but we all know that rubber shrinks over time and lets air go past , in places that we don't expect

pipes fracture etc

so if you can . make sure that all the vacume caps covering the vacume take offs  are still not cracked, that the zpipe  from bell housing to plenum is good order ..and that the rubbers from head to throttle bodies ,,,and throttle bodies to plenum are all good ...many have found them leaking to a degree

just a heads up

good luck

Thanks Charlie99,

That helped the bike a lot, idles a lot better, still get a slight rise in RPM when pushing the green start button but not as much as it was,

First job I do is that crank case breather hose so all good there, all other rubber seems intact.

Cheers Smile
