I'm sure this is on here somewhere, but after searching I haven't found it. Do you guys know the total rear travel on an '89 K100RS? I'm installing a new shock and want to set up the preload.
I'm assume about a 25% of total travel initial preload. I did see one post that said 1.25 to 1.5 inches, but I'm not sure which K they were discussing there.
I found some old specs that suggested 4.3" of travel, not sure if that was accurate either.
Anyway, wanted to check here before I work on it. The shock is a TFX from the Beemer Shop. It will have adjustable preload and rebound dampening.
Thanks
