I am a (newborn) newbie with K100RS (-86) from South Finland. I had a similar bike about 30 years ago. The best trips around Europe were made specifically on that bike. The purchase of the current bike was a complete coincidence. I was buying winter tires for my daughter’s car and saw a black motorcycle in parts in the corner of the garage. I recognized the case immediately and made an offer that was accepted by the owner. It took about two weeks to get required parts and get it roadworthy. I have been driving for about 300 kilometers so far to get the right information on her condition. There is still a lot to do to get her in mint condition (injectors, painting, forks, original exhaust etc.). My aim is to get her as original state as possible.
Great hobby, great bulletproof engine and a great ride.

It's a short riding season up there - make the most of it. I think we've got one other member from Finland too.
