G’day Everyone, my name’s Karnett and I own a 1988 K100LT.

Picked it up last year off a friend of a friend. Got it on historic rego. Had sprag clutch issues within the first month (thanks for your advice and knowledge..all good now), and last month had the final drive assembly replaced. 

So now everything is hunky dory (touch wood) and looking forward to a modest restoration... and lots of riding. It is so much more comfy than my DR 

The previous owner (yes it was the PO) painted it blue (I would of loved to retain the metallic brown) and converted it to a naked bike (but I am ok with that).

I have the fairing etc but it is a bit worse for wear.

Looking forward to K ownership and many happy miles.

When I first got my brick I planned on painting it black, cause it was blue (the avatar is one of my spares) but I've got to like blue now (blue looks new, brown makes you frown)

I'm on historic rego too. After a few months you might want to put the fairing on, just to see how you like it. Would be good to see a photo of your brick.

Wondering which method fixed your sprag issue?

Welcome from one who lived down the river at Maclean many years ago. How many? I was present when the first Harwood bridge was officially opened! I remember the days of 3 vehicular ferries. That bridge eliminated the last ferry crossing on the Pacific Highway.
