Playmates, good news for those in need. I was initially told this service was no longer available in UK, A shout out on the forum put me onto BMWNA sorry we cant deal with UK reg bike,but the service is available. ROSS the parts man at Allan Jefferies BMW Shipley YORKSHIRE,said I think i can help.WOW i collect my new key on Friday this week. Replacement original KEY 212902 Replacement original KEY 212902

I saw your post from a few days ago and I was positive I had an uncut blank folding key somewhere that I could've sent you in return for the trip reset knob last year.

Alas I cant find the bugger  Replacement original KEY 177381

Thanks anyway. i needed a key that is already cut to the original code removing the need to strip/change cylinders.TT easy to recognise me MIGHTY K in race trim ie no top box. Number 69 just in case Replacement original KEY 44271 Replacement original KEY 44271

Bmank Folding keys are available from Motobins, around £11 plus p&p.  Thought bmw dealers could order a pre cut one though have not tried for a few years.

I have had a couple of the blanks and my local locksmith cuts them for me.
