Thanks for adding me.  Located in Ontario, Canada. I purchased my 87 k100rs "Retro Ruby" from a gentleman that owned it 23 years.  First task was to get caught up on maintenance and get a baseline for health as it wasn't running great.  Replaced all intake/throttle body boots, vacuum lines and port plugs, resealed and new gaskets as oil was seeping everywhere.  Checked valve clearances, compression test 150/cylinder, checked for spark in all plugs and still it ran rough.  Replaced injectors, fuel filter, drained tank of old fuel, and replaced pressure regulator (maintained now at 35-40psi).  Still rough I started testing ignition circuit and finally noticed a corroded plug wire which had terrible resistance readings.  Replaced the plug wires and voila she's top notch.  Learned a lot out of this maintenance, and now that Retro Ruby seems like a solid platform, I will embark on making her my own.  I look forward to all the info you guys have provided in your years of experience.  Thanks again, Cheers.
