Hi newbie to the K-forum, name's John Spat living in the Denver suburbs. Been riding and wrenching most all my life and I picked up a K100 with an EML sidecar over the winter. The K bike is kind of a strange beast to me mostly been a twin or thumper air cooled guy. I'm trying to gain knowledge, help or ideas when needed and maybe share an occasional story. Thanks for having me.

Think of a K bike as a car on two wheels or, in your case, three.

Welcome!  Ditto on Duck's comment.  The brick is basically an 80's car engine in a bike, which when you get used to it, really is a good idea.  Treat it right and it will eat a lot of pavement for you.

BTW, You look good on that rig.

Thanks for the welcomes. I'm not scared, just a motor with wheels I know that but these things seem to have some quirks, this bike is in good shape for the miles. I hope to get out for some travels soon, can't be any more troublesome and a bit more timely than our Ural.
