will the k100 wiring harness talk to the k75 ecu , ignition ? so can i use a k100 harness or part of on a K75 ? not sure but i do not think so would just like confirmation from here , members far more experience of playing with electrics here than i have . thanks craig

I never thought about it, but off the top of my head I would say the only difference is that the coil connections and the number of injector connectors will be different.  The number of injectors should be no big deal because they are all connected together.

The coil connections is where the wiring is a lot different because of the different number of coils and the wasted spark on the K100.

All the rest of the parts in a Jetronic system are the same and have the same pin assignments, so I gues if you can figure out the coil wiring you might be able to use a different harness.

Personally, I would get the correct harness.

The Hall Effect Sensors and ICUs are different as well. On a 4 cylinder HES the sensors are directly opposed whereas on a K75 the sensors are offset.
