Hi,

I'm Tom, pretty new to riding! passed my A license test at the end of the August. 

I daily ride a BMW F800GT but wanted a project bike. I then discovered the BMW K100 range and liked the idea of a cafe racer but didn't want to mutilate a good example. 

So, I purchased a half complete bike and here we are. The wiring has been utterly destroyed by the previous owner but mechanically, it is in very good condition. Seems to have a few too many K1100 parts truth be told...

Looking forward to reading forum posts and hopefully be able to help others as well.

Welcome too.

You need to state what model or year K100 you have because on the 4v ones lots of K1100 parts are interchangeable. Best idea is pop it in your signature

If you open a new thread for your build we can all watch and you can ask any technical questions you want.
